The boom of the automobile industry has given rise to car ownership in recent years. That has inadvertently led to an increase in the number of ELVs or end-of-life vehicles. Although the automobile industry in India is huge, the ELV recycling industry is in its infant stage. The industry is in need of solutions to handle and process used-cars in a manner which is environment-friendly. To make it financially viable, the processing should guarantee maximum efficiency and should allow the reuse of all the usable parts.
